Great Bike
By David from Te Awamutu on 5 December 2010
I upgraded to the Vivace after doing 10,000 kms on an Avanti Sprint. I have a 46 km return commute to work, the Sprint was great and never missed a beat other than a couple of broken spokes just recently.
The Vivace is definitely a faster bike and the carbon forks and seat post give a smoother ride.
The Zero Atom seat was a bit too firm to start off with but I persevered and now it is no problem.
It is a fun bike to ride and the extra couple of gears are useful also. I got a good trade in deal on the old Sprint so I am very happy!
Nice

This is the my first ever road bike and while my experience with road bikes is somewhat limited, I'm extremely happy with the performance.
I have been cycling for about 18 months and until I purchase this bike 3 months ago was riding a hybrid.
The T105 gears are fantastic and make for easy gear changes. The frame seems very rigid and light weight, contributed to by carbon fork.
However, you do need to service and tighten the cables a couple of times in the first few months for frequent riders.
All up, a great entry level bike for anyone getting into road riding.
Cheers Avanti!
