Papanui Cycles has been servicing the North West of Christchurch since 1938 and after 66 years they are still offering great service and have now established itself as Christchurch’s Largest Suburban Cycle Shop.

Current owners Kevin Lee & Rick Lamb purchased Papanui Cycles back in June 2001, after managing the store for over a year with the previous owners. He has over 15 year’s previous experience in the cycle industry and when taking over the business, he saw a huge opportunity to create a professional suburban cycle store in Christchurch.

Offering top selling brands such as Avanti, Specialized, SUB(Sarah Ulmer Brand), Raleigh. Papanui Cycles has created a loyal and satisfied following amongst both hard core competitive cyclists and regular riders looking for quality products, along with the AvantiPlus Papanui's service that is second to none.

“Service is our number one goal,” says Kevin. “Everyone who works here is fully trained in sales along with mechanical and product knowledge.” When it comes to cycles, they know their stuff. From $149.00 BMX cycles up to full suspension downhill bikes and carbon road bikes, they not only sell the product but know how to get the best out of them, and can give advice on maintenance as well as offer expert service when needed.

“With all Cycles we sell, not only do we give a manufacturer’s warranty, but exclusive to Avantiplus Papanui, we offer three free safety services for the first year from date of purchase,” says Kevin.
