Hello again Mike,
 
The wheels arrived yesterday in good condition.  I rode 20k on them before breakfast today and they performed very well, so they will go to Wellington with me for Saturday's race.  

I know that it would have been, so much simpler, for the prize winner to have just accepted the bike.  On that score, may I say thanks very, very much for your tolerant and professional help in the circumstances - highly appreciated!  I will certainly be a positive advocate for service from Stewarts Avanti Plus Nelson.
