Hi Everyone
Welcome to 2010, with 4 seasons in one month!!
 
Hope you all had a break over the festive time and you got some time in the deckchair.    I certainly did, with wine, books, and good company, even though we didn’t have that many nice days, life in the camp was all pretty relaxing.
 
But we are back into it now and I shocked  my bike and even rode it in a downpour this week.
So if you have been a bit slow like me, dust off the bike and dig out the lycra. We have details on heaps of events and there are always keen group of cyclists at the back door of the shop 5.30pm, so no excuses for not getting out there and joining in.
 
 Ben competed in the Wellington Vets 2 Day Tour last weekend (when we were inside by the fire) and came 3rd overall.
Pretty tough couple of days and some stiff competition, so Congratulations Ben.
 
James has been biking up a storm on his fixie and is planning a MT Bike trip to Rotorua this weekend. ACC have been alerted!! 
 
Brian’s biking skills has proven themselves lately and he has had some fast times in the rides. He’s a Legend.
 
Tony has been fitting in the odd ride between grandchildren time and has also been in the shop a lot over the festive break. What would we do without him!!
 
Mike Milburn & Brian have organized a Mountain Bike ride for Sunday 7th February, beginning at Craigie Lea Road and travelling on a circuit of mainly 4WD tracks through farmland and forrest.
Distance of 40-50kms, taking around 4 hours. Meet at Mikes 9am, 539 Craigie Lea Road. Bring own Lunch, Water, Sunscreen and Smile.

A vanload of keen Guys and one poor Gal are heading with Brian to the Graperide March 27th.
 (special thanks to Sharline for offering to wash out all the lycra on Sunday morning).  
This is a lovely scenic ride they tell me, and with wineries all along the route, it can’t be too bad!!

   New Seasons Road bikes are appearing in store and some nice colours.
Come in and check out the new range including the Vitale and Questa for women.
 
We have a good range of lightweight vests in store, Tifosi sunglasses and also SPF arm covers. If we have not got what you are looking for, just ask as we can source almost anything!!
