Why do I choose a Preferred Store?
By selecting a preferred store during the sign up process you are supporting your local bike shop by choosing who gets the profit from any orders you make on the site. The AvantiPlus network of retail stores benefits from your support and they in turn can provide you with additional services. They can provide expert help with product and technical enquiries, product servicing and in the case of a bike purchase, they are the pick up destination for your new bicycle.


What methods can I pay by?
AvantiPlus accepts secure payment online with the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard.

I don't have a credit card - how else can I pay?
AvantiPlus.com only accepts credit card payments at present.

When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged on the completion of your order being placed. Your order is shipped on that day or the next business day for orders placed on weekends.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Parts and Accessory Orders: Expect delivery of your order within 2-3 working days although we will strive to get it to you the day after you order. All orders are currently shipped with CourierPost. Along with great delivery performance, they also provide a Track and Trace facility. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday only. Refer to our Shipping & Delivery page for full details.

Bike Orders: We do not ship bikes direct to consumers. Any bike ordered will be shipped to your preferred AvantiPlus Retail Store where it will be assembled by a qualified bicycle technician. You will be contacted by the store when your bike has arrived for assembly. Delivery time is similar to parts delivery. It is important that you take a copy of your receipt and personal ID when picking up your bike purchase.

Can I add to my order?
Once an order has been confirmed it is final and cannot be changed. Any additions would need to be processed as another order.

How secure is shopping online with Avantiplus.com?
AvantiPlus.com is protected by SSL encryption technology. This ensures a secure environment for our customers. We use the secure Hosted Payment page solution from DPS to process online orders. Customers can see their cards being authorized and debited in real time, all in an SSL secure environment. The Hosted Payment page enables us to offer customers a safe and speedy online shopping experience.

I have been sent the incorrect item. What should I do?
Please contact us as soon as you are aware of the error.

Can I return my order for a refund or exchange an item?
We offer a flexible returns policy and are happy to accept items back for a refund or exchange if they don’t fit, you’ve ordered the wrong things or the items are damaged/faulty upon receipt. Goods CANNOT be returned or exchanged if the customer has simply changed their mind. Download Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form PDF.

I have an item that I have received that is faulty?
No problem, simply return the item to us as per the instructions on our Warranty & Returns page.

Do you ship to addresses outside of New Zealand?
AvantiPlus.com currently ships to addresses within New Zealand only.

Do you ship to P.O.Box addresses?
No we do not ship to P.O.Box addresses. All our deliveries require a signature for security and proof of delivery.

How do I track my shipment?
Currently all our New Zealand orders are shipped via CourierPost. You can track your order at http://www.courierpost.co.nz by clicking on the tracking number provided in your Order Dispatched confirmation email.

Can I pick up my order from the store?
All parts and accessory orders placed on-line are shipped directly to the customer. Any bike orders placed are to be picked up from your preferred Avantiplus retail store location. It is important that you take a copy of your receipt and personal ID when picking up your bike purchase.

Are all specials or closeout deals available in store as well?
We do not guarantee that all special priced items or close out deals are replicated in store or vice versa. From time to time we have different promotions running at both locations.

What are the delivery charges?
Charges are calculated based on your shopping basket contents and your delivery address. The exact charges will be added to the order at the Checkout stage of the order process. Refer to the Shipping & Delivery page for more information.

Do you offer finance terms?
Avantiplus.com does not provide finance terms. However you can contact your preferred Avantiplus Retail Store as they provide this service in store.

How do I change my address?
All of your customer details can be viewed and edited in the ‘My Account’ tab once you have signed in. Edit an address, view order history and even change your password.

I have forgotten my account password?
Click the ‘Forgotten Password’ link in the customer login page and we will email your password to you.

I have found an item I like but it is not on your site, can you get it?
For availability of items other than those displayed on our site, contact your preferred Avantiplus store directly.

I’m unsure which size bike I will need?
The best way to decide what size bike you need is to visit an AvantiPlus retail store for expert advice. For online assistance, head to our Bike Buyer Guides page. Here you will find advice and information that will steer you in the right direction. If you are at all unsure what size to buy, visit your local AvantiPlus shop and buy in store where they have the expertise and equipment to fit you properly.

I'm overseas can I use my credit card to pay for items and get them sent to a NZ address?

Currently no this is not an option due to security and fraud reasons. Only credit cards from the same country as the delivery address will be able to complete a transaction.
